新しいリーク、サムスンの折りたたみスマホのデザイン変更は1つのモデルのみと判明

新しいリークが明らかにしたところによると、Samsungの次世代の折りたたみ式携帯電話は、設計変更を受けるのはGalaxy Z Flip 5のみだという。Samsungは、先日Galaxy Z Flip 5に大型のカバー・ディスプレイがあることを発表したばかりだが、新しいリークによると、Galaxy Z Flip 5とGalaxy Z Fold 5のスクリーンサイズとデザインについてさらに情報が明らかになった。

信頼できるリークスターであるIce Universe(@UniverseIce)によると、Galaxy Z Flip 5は3.4インチのカバー・ディスプレイと、6.7インチのメインディスプレイを備えているという。この折りたたみ式携帯電話は、重量が187gで、これは前作と同じである。これは、Samsungがより大きなスクリーンを追加しながら、重量を増やさないように工学的な改良を行ったことを示唆している。

一方、Galaxy Z Fold 5には、6.2インチのカバー・スクリーンと7.6インチのメイン・スクリーンが搭載される予定だ。全体的な高さと幅は前モデルと同じで、唯一のデザイン変更は、水滴型のヒンジと軽量化されたボディ（254g）であるという。Samsungの両折りたたみ式携帯電話は、IPX7の防水性能があり、前モデルと同様である。

以前の報告では、Galaxy Z Flip 5とGalaxy Z Fold 5には、サイドマウントされた指紋リーダーが搭載されるとされている。また、Galaxy S23シリーズで使用されているSnapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxyチップセットが使用される可能性がある。Galaxy Z Fold 5は、Z Fold 4と同じカメラを使用する見込みだが、Galaxy Z Flip 5は新しい、より大きなプライマリー・カメラセンサーが使用される予定である。
